Flodger into Dodger

I am targeting Lakers next weekend and I was told to use Dodgers. The problem is that I have Flodgers.

To me Dodgers look like Flodgers without the bends.

Has any one taken a Flodger and hammered it flat and used it ad a Dodger? If so how did it work?

I'm guessing that will take quite a bit of hammering Thor. Unless you've got expierence as a fabricator or blacksmith I say... borrow some.

If you decide to try it, be sure to check the action at the side of the boat before you send it down. Dodgers are designed to wobble back and forth and flodgers spin. Who knows, maybe you'll figure out how to get the right action and make your next million manufacturing fishing tackle.

why not just go buy a few dodgers?

think of it this way, 1 dodger=3 gallons of gas... :yikes:

I have a pertty big hammer, a anvil and a bad ***** barbque grill to smelt them on :lol: . I beat the snot out of a coulpe of them last night. They now have a true hammered finish. I will try them this weekend in the Thumb Offshore Tournament and I will report.
