Leelanau, Long, Green and duck lakes are your best bets

The bays can be a tough bite. But.....if you find them....wooohooo!!! Lime lake is a good bet also.

If you fishing the bay key in by the lighthouse on the point by harbor springs. I nailed the smallmouth there last fall.

I've pounded some huge smallies on that lake. Just tuff to find a good concentration of them. Wish the BASS federation still came up there . They were good to follow to help find structure that I normaly didn't notice.
hHate them new condos ont he river though in ER.

Thanks again, got some maps and aerial photos of the above lakes. I don't know which ones I will hit yet. I'm taking off in the morning. Will post results.
