Thanks bassmaster, perch and other pan fish like to be out in deep water in the winter correct? I heard that on one of those outdoors shows. Thats why i figured the deep water would be good. Now i'm wondering if i should go to a little shallower water for the pan fish where there is more structure for them to live in. Suggestions anyone

I ment to put that on the Stoney Creek post but i screwed up. So the body of water that i'm refering to in this post is stoney creek.

For panfish like perch you still want to be in the deeper water however for pike you will want to be in at the most 5-8ft of water this is personal preferance. If you put out a tip up set the bait within the first 3 feet of water because pike have there eyes on top so they are usually looking up for prey. if you want some gps coordinates send me a (PM) personal message.

bassmaster I would take you up on that offer with the coordinates but i don't have a hand held GPS. I'll be out tomorrow probaly from 10 in the morning til whenever its suppose to be pretty nice. Being in a shanty in 40 degree weather should be nice so i'll be out til the fish stop biting. I'm gonna go for the pan fish tomorrow. Maybe out in front of Eastwood Beach again, since I don't know any other good areas.
