I have one question where doe's all the money go from this tournament because let's say you get a 110 boat at $75.00 a boat that's $8,250.00 if you going by the sheet the pay back is $2960.00 that's from 1st to 15 place being payed back where's the rest of the money go, And if every one has to pay to launch at hoyle's they get's $1320.00?I just wanted to know where's the money going.

me too! , been wondering that for years. someone must be making some coin:16suspect . ...the funny thing is that that payout is based on a 50 boat entry.:16suspect :help:

im not fishing the tournament tomorrow for the first time in several years. i just didnt have the time to prefish this week, so its a no go for me. im not sure if it will matter though with the wind today. it could be anyones game. the deeper fish probably werent affected as much, so those guys may be in luck.

i just got home from the marina and its blowing mach 1 :yikes: , so you guys may have a rough ride in the morning. all of this wind should make for an interesting tournament. the good news is, is its supposed to lay down to 2 ft or less. probably around midday if it quits soon.

well anyway, be safe and good luck to ya.;) ...catch the big en!:D

Can't say what they are doing this year, but in past years if the tournout was good, they would pay out more than was advertised. More to first and deeper payout.

I think the profits that are made are split between the linwood guoup that helps put it on (not sure of their name) and the Saginaw Bay Walleye Club.

well, it sure was allot nicer out there than i thought i was gonna be. i dont know if the wind switched over night or what, but it sure layed down nice. im still shocked because it was like a hurricane last night. the bay sure can be strange. but, it made a nice run for the guys who ran north.;) :D

we waited for the guys to get out of the marina before we went out. we ran to an area that we caught some nicer fish at 2 weeks ago and they were still there. not as many numbers(16 boated,11 legal), but nicer fish. for our best 5 we had between 18-20 lbs....maybe i should have fished the tourney after all. ...they were stuck right in the mud, no suspended fish at all. really slow with crawlers was the ticket for us. when we got bit we actually fed em some line. then they had it down to the fuel pump:evilsmile

We fish the tournament and weighted in just over 15 pounds but we caught over 30 walleye over 15 inch and 31 incher that weighted in 8.14 pound's but the rest were 16 1/2 to 15 inch's.
