Trying to make the call on hitting the Bay this morning or not. Does'nt look too good on the wind/weather side of things for the weekend with tomorrow being the worse of the two days. Freakin' wind anyway. :rant: Blastin from the north for three weeks and now a quick switch to the south. :rolleyes:

Lakergrad - wish I would have checked the board last night and saw your post, may have been able to arrange to hook up with you. Would have been nice to meet someone else from the site and hit the local waters. Good luck to you out there, be safe. :fish:

Well, looks like we are on the same page with the wind. I decided to avoid the roller coaster this morning in hopes of gettting some things done around the house. I figure this will free me up for next week, if it ever stops blowing! :rant:

Anyway, I'm struggling to find fishing partners lately, so it's a standing offer for anyone interested. It's pretty hard to make a worthwhile trip on your own (although it's always nice to get out)! I live in Freeland and work in Bay City, so I can launch pretty much anywhere.

The waves weren't that bad today 2-3 footers. went and got and got our 2 man limit. Went out of holyes to 21 foot of water. Got all fish on hot-n-tots.

Lakergrad did you go to school at Laker high in the thumb?

Went out this morning and it started out pretty rough. By ten/eleven it started to calm down and the farther out we worked the better it seemed. Anyway, fishing was good if you like small fish. Took home nine, but threw back around twenty five sub-legal walleye. All fish, but one came on spinners or spoons and bb. One fish on a pink and blue latter back double downer, eighty back.
