Went out to Belleville Lake to try for some smallies. I was a little skeptical at first because it was my first time using senkos. only 3 casts in and i had my first senko fish a nice smallie about 2 pounds. then i had one break me off in the same spot and one hit the lure on top of the water whe retreiving it. Well that was pretty much the way the day went. i had several break offs and missed the hookset on a few, but overall it was a great day and i managed to catch about 8 smallies. i guess i will be needing to get a stiffer rod and reel with some heavier line on it next time.:D

Good job on catching your fish. Breaking off ?, hard hook sets ?, too low line poundage ?, drag locked down ?, poor knots ? Look at everything, check your gear.
P.S. - try not to show so much enthusiasm in your photos, you should smile a bit, you almost look disappointed ! :D :fish2:

good job and yes when you catch fish smile show us your pearly whites! something about a fish and a smile go together like milk and cereal.
