FISHED STONEY MIDDLE LAKE, SATURDAY FROM 6:00 UNTIL 7:45PM. RIGHT AFTER DARK, I HEARD COYOTES YEPING. IT HAPPENED TWINCE BEFORE I HEADED HOME. HAS ANYONE ELSE HEARD THEM?

Glad I wasn't the only one who thought I heard them. I was fishing thursday and friday night and thought I heard something sound like coyotes. I was using my lantern which was making a lot of noise so I turned it almost off and just listened a while. I heard some dogs too but also heard what I thought were coyotes. I went on the internet to check some coyote sounds out and they sounded a bit more high pitched than the ones I heard. I still think they were coyotes though as I haven't heard any dogs sounding like that. It was a really neat experience.

There here. My son and I saw one last fall coming back from a day of bow hunting..............it ran across Aurburn Rd. and between the gas station and the Posen landscaping company just off Ryan Rd. Couldn't believe it!

Yes, we do have some in the area. Turkeys too!! I saw turkeys a 1/2 mile from my house. Saw them at Van Dyke and Campground rd. Four of them last fall. Stoney also has turkeys. Talked to the nature center last year after I saw one on 28 Mile rd. They planted them there.

SAW A FLOCK OF 13 TURKEYS, AT 24 MILE RD. AND NORTH AVE. LAST SUNDAY. MY WIFE WAS YELLING AT ME TOO WATCH THE ROAD.
