I have 12 sucker minnows(6 in two buckets) that need to stay alive until tomorrow morning. No areater, but i do have O tabs. They need to stay alive until 6 A.M.

put some ice in the buckets.or you can use an air compressor as an aerator.

If this is a regular happening you might want to consider picking up an inexpensive aquarium air pump either from a pet store or at a garage sale.

Keeping the water safe (no chlorine) and cool and with an air pump I would think that you could keep the suckers alive for months.

suckers are pretty durable....I've had them stay alive for two weeks in just a styrafoam bucket in the wintertime....the ice cubes should work..they'll be fine in the morning!

Probably too late, but for those who will read this, I used to throw the bucket in the laundry tub and put the faucet on to barely a trickle and let it drip through the hole in the top of the bucket. It worked.

thanks for all the advice. all but 3 made it over night with oxygen tabs and ice.
