Just got back. I fished south basin off Neuman access and it was good ice with several permanent shanties starting to appear. South basin is iced good (no vehicles) at least past the dropoffs. Still I'd watch the points as they freeze the weakest. Maplehurst you can fish past the drop a little (5"). As far as Gerrish, Evergreen, N.State I didn't go out there put didn't see any activity there at all. West launch maybe 100yds out but ice still looks shaky. Definitely can't get to sunken or treasure as still had open water. West and East st. maybe 100yds but you can get to 60' of water. For the most part the North Basin is NOT safe. Monday for fishing was tough but after drilling (30) holes brought home 35 that were 8 to 8 1/2.
