We are picking up perch while trolling for Eyes out of AuGres. We did VG on perch last Fall. The perch should start schooling in the deep holes of Sag Bay. The Black Hole near Pinconning, AuGres, and Charity Islands. Last fall almost all the perch we caught were feeding on water fleas, the kind that stick to your lines while trolling.:)

Great Thanks For The Tip, I Seen People Perch Fishing Off Of The Bank Of The St. Clair River Sat Night When I Was On The Way Back From Drift Fishing By The Bridge. Nothing Big Though. - only Caught 6 :)
I took my 3yr old daughter out yesterday on on eo fhte local lakes here and we caught nothing but perch on the Gill beds. Ticked me off, because there were a lot of HUGE gills there, but they just wouldn't take. i had the same problem in another lake the weekend before. Wax worms, red worms, nothing was triggering the big ones to dance.
And for the record, my daughter outfished me yesterday. She caught some 10 fish, we kept 6 of hers and I caught and 8"perch that got off at the boat and another perch later. She loves it!!!!
