I have a "Power Drive" model and it won't turn to the right now. Anyone have any experience with places in West Michigan that repair trollng motors?
My problem is I do a tourny every week and need a fast turn around.
I called Minn Kota and it sounds like it will take about 2 weeks and cost approx half the cost of a new motor.
Anyone have a newer bow mount for sale?

I have a powerdrive 55 # that had a leak. when they fixed it there was a board that controls the movvements. It cost aroudn 125 for the part. Call the minn kota repair shop in Kinglsy michigan. He is a good guy and might be able to help even though he's prolly too far for you to go to.

Great lakes Communication 616-647-9990, 4970 West River Rd. They're by the whitecaps ballpark. I've taken motors there a couple times and was very happy with the service.

Buy a new one, get your old one fixed and that way you will always have a spare. I just had the same problem 2 weeks ago and already had $500 tied up in entry fees so I needed a motor. Luckily I won some money to pay for the cost of the new one, but now I have piece of mind knowing that if something else happens I have a backup plan.
