I have never fished there before, and I have no idea where to put in at, or where to go. I would like to troll for walleyes, and help with how to get to a launch from 75, and where to go once I get there would be great. GPS cords will work as well, but I don't need any body to give up a hot spot, just some general area to start in, and I should be able to do the rest. Also what is a "good" wind, I don't have a real big boat, 18ft.

The Saginaw Bay is always best when a light W wind is blowing. From I75 you can take the Wilder Rd M13 Kawkawlin Exit @ Bay City. There is a DNR launch off Paterson rd. N. of Wilder Rd. Linwood also has Hoyles, and Gambils right off M13. Standish has Greatlakes Marina on Sagatoo rd. off 13. Augres has a DNR launch @ the mouth of the Augres River off US23. Get out there and look for the boats. Fish are being caught all over the bay right now. Most of the fish are being taken in the deeper water now that the inner bay has warmed to over 70. I probably will sit Friday out due to N. and NE winds, but will try and get out Sat. If I do get out it will be Augres and my handle is Priority1. GL I hope this helps. The bay can be a bad place to be in any size boat, when a Nor-Easter is blowing. Be mindful of the weather and always play safe.

If you ever want to hook up with someone to go out with, drop me a pm. Don't get out there much in last couple years since my 21' old boat bit the dust about 3 years ago. Only have a 14' now, and have to be very careful on chosing days. Plus been working out of town since last Nov. You bring the boat, and I'll supply some refreshments, snacks and any info I can share with you.......Ralph.
