Yankee Springs Report

Fished a small lake in Yankee Springs over the weekend. Brought home a dozen gills between 6.5" and 7.5" on Friday, and 18 of roughly the same size on Sunday. The ice was holding up pretty good considering the warm temps, there was 4-5 inches of solid ice with about 1.5" of soft mushy ice on top. Fishnut, I looked for you on Sunday, what happened?

I'm sorry Big Al. I went on Saturday fishing in K-zoo, got up Sunday a.m. and had a water leak in my bathroom. What I thought would be a 15 fix turned out to be most of the day. I would much rather have been fishing, trust me. This weekend is out for me so maybe sometime this evening I may give it a shot. Sounds like you did very well, good job.
