If you have been boar hunting, please post: where, when, and how much it cost. Also any other details you have of your hunt. I am looking to go in the spring and would like to hear some first hand info before I go. Thanks!

I hunted Russian Boar last Spring in Northern California and they had a Mountain Lion on the 13,000 acre ranch we hunted on. by "Michigan Hunter" in "Sound Off" forum under "Mountain Lions??"

I have heard that California hog hunting is superb. You may want to check with Michigan Hunter on his trip. I lived in Florida and can tell you there is plenty of opportunity to hunt hogs there, including the mule toed breed originally brought by the Spanish Conquistadors. This is a good time to go and hunt there. Not as hot and not too many insects. Less snakes in the winter too! Check with Lykes Bros. Ranch. they used to offer a guided hog hunt on their island in Lake Kissimmee. Let us know how you do.

I looked into hunting with them a couple years ago, and the info they sent me looked very good. During 1999 the very good show "Secrets of the Hunt", hosted by Dave Watson on The Outdoor Channel, originated from this lodge.

Sorry I can't give you insight from my own personal experience.
