Going to hit the Bay for the first time this year. In a 16 ft aluminum, wonder areas where someone would recomend fishing. Either Launching out of the Mouth or at Gambill's. Thanks for any info.

id go out of bayport and hit the islands and the slot just outside of them.

Wherever you "shoot" from and to in your 16'er,....watch the winds. Forecasts say out of the north/northeast 8 - 13 mph for Thurs / Fri. You can factor that by another 1.5 and you'll have three - four footers plus to contend with. Wide open from anything from the north, nothing to slow down the wind. Be safe. ;) :cool: :fish2:

Headed out of Patterson rd launch. Ended up boating 22 eyes, 6 keepers. Caught most fish in 16 FOW. Good first run on the bay for the year. Can't wait to go again. Good luck and thanks for the info.
