This is from a cam here in Tn - poster stated the picture right before this one and the picture after are 'normal' -

My 'therory' is that this is a 'close' lighting strike - deer hauling butt and lighting all at the same time - very cool picture - what think?

Do you mean the color? I've seen a few others that way too. Heard it might be the exposure.

What are the white things in the pic?

Yea the lighting - the picture before was fine and the one after fine also - all about 2 mins apart - so camera was set ok - as to the white things - that's anyones guess - we just don't know -

I just thought, the fact the deer was haulling butts that maybe lighting hit close by and messed up the cam exposure some how for that shot -

I wonder if that is junk and wet debris flying through the air that was close enough to catch and reflect the flash of the camera. The one spot almost looks like a leaf, or part of a leaf. Pretty cool picture, especially if it was indeed a lightening flash illuminated background!

I would agree with lightning, the sky in the upper corner looks like it would be, that purpleish color in the sky... awesome pic

Look close at the right side of the picture. It looks normal. The rest of the picture is not. I think you're right this was caused by a lighting strike. The tree in the middle looks like it's on fire. Cool Picture.
