I bought a set of pallet forks for the Quik Attach FEL a couple of years ago to move dock and boat hoists. I thought that I would only use for them for this purpose. Once in the spring and once in the fall.

Man I was wrong. Those things are handy. They are much easier to use for moving large boulders. If you want to dig a surface rock out they work great for that too.

If you are clearing a field or making a trail and have some saplings or fairly small trees, just point those forks at an angle, stab the dirt under them and lift pulling the tree and roots out in seconds.

I also use them to set my disc and implements on the concrete apron of the barn so that they slide easy for hook up and release, then use the forks to pick the implements up and store them.

And last but not least you can bring a whole tree trunk back to your cabin or campsite and cut the logs off as they sit on the forks no stooping or lifting to a saw buck.:D :) . Keep that saw away from the forks :tdo12:

Great, you had to point out something else I need to buy for my tractor. :smile-mad
Sounds very useful though. Are they expensive?

Mine is a Bradco model. I got it at a JD dealer for $700.00

Here is a link.

Also try IRON SEARCH for some used ones.

You are right about them being very handy. Our neighbor just finished adapting a set of forks for his front end loade. He bought a pair of heavy forks that were on a fork lift, I'm thinking down by Fowlerville. They are heavy, but work fantastic. He had bought a pair earleir but it didn't take much before one was bent terribly. This set will not bend now.

Looser :D

Forks are great. I palletize fire wood and anything else I can think of. I've also got an equipment loft in the barn where I can put out of season implements up and out of the way.
