One and only child graduated this year so the wife and I are having a shing ding of a party this Saturday for her. Hopefully the weather will co-operate the rest of the summer so we can get some more eyes. After everyone has a few totties plan on cooking up the rest of my walleye late that night for munchies instead of eating what we had for dinner. Your all welcome to stop on by if your in the area, just bring a card with CASH:lol: Hey Whale I know youll read this, did you get your fish on the south end of coreyon Saturday?

Backlash - congrats to your daughter on her graduation ! No Sir, never made it over to Coreyon, we stayed just about a 1/2 mile N/NW of the island tip on the west side of the channel. 14' - 15' of water did the number for us, whatever we had down, they ate. I put up a post on here "sun. 4th results". Check it out. Need to get you out there, I'm sure these 'eyes will be around for a while yet. Plenty of 'em. Good luck. :fish2:

We'll bring Greg along but he will have to stay at the party. You know he don't like the bay.

Ruff Rider - yes Sir, that was me. A buddy and I were out for several hours. Had a very good time bringing in a couple limits of 'eyes. Very few throw backs this time out. That was nice. Purple Rapala Deep Divers, Perch colored Tail Dancers, Flo. orange and then Flo. green harnesses, didn't seem to matter what you had down, they ate it. Called out a few times on the radio, you were the only response I talked to from the site. How did your boat finish up ? I will be back out again this weeken, looks like sunday will be my day out. Good luck. :fish2:

Shortly after I talked to you last I found what must have been a school of eye's. Ended up pulling 7 more fish in about an hour to make my 3 person limit. I couldn't even get all of my lines in the water, it was great. My dad was also out in his boat with my grandpa and they got their 2 man limit as well. Great day on the bay, unfortunately, my next day of isn't until Sunday, so that will be my next opportunity. Maybe I'll talk to you guys out there. Where were you guys launching from, I launched from Quanicassee.
Good luck everyone!

I fished the reef and was thinking I should have launched from Quanicassee as well. Much shorter of a ride from there than it is from Essexville. How's the water coming out of there. I haven't launched there in a couple of years.

Lonnie, the only reason Gregg don't like the bay is that it is prolly too overwhelming for him. He has been out there maybe twice. You and Bob should take him out so he will get to know the area. Don't worry about him catching all the walleye, he is a bass and pike fisherman. Stop on by after the fishing and have a cold one. On second thought maybe Bob should just stay off the bay completely. You know what happens to the weather every time he goes:yikes: . Don't need that for the open house.

Decided to go to My Home away from home Sunday for Smallies instead. It wouldn't be fair to kill the good bite on the Bay so early in the season :xzicon_sm ! Can't ever seem to shake that "Winds of Chamook" thing  :tdo12: . So I guess I'll just fish (the Bay) vicariously thru You Guys  ! Bob

Might try this weekend out there should be a great weekend on the Bay, if Chamook stays inland. Don will try and get Greg out there when I get a bigger boat, don't want to scare the poor guy. Have a good time at the open house and congrats of getting one thru the system.
