Eyes have it in Augres

I fished with Kuz today in Augres. We boxed 6, farmed 4, and lost one @ the boat. Our largest Eye went 6-1/2#. Any color harness with 2 oz bouncers, over 40 FOW. We also took a couple of bonus perch 8-9 inches. The largest fish hit a fire tiger next to the boat (no board).

great fishing. How far back with the 2 oz.. Did you try PA'S at all. I will be up there probably Fryday & begining part of next week.I usually take the weekend off. THANKS ffor the info.

Some boats in the area were pulling PAs but we were using bouncers. We had PAs on hand, but why kick a winning dog. We were back just far enough to hit bottom and reel back up to where we were marking fish on the graph, anywhere from 2-8 ft off bottom. We were running in-line boards. Conditions change fast and adjust to them. If I can get out Sat. I'm going to try a spread of Tots off the big boards. I will also have the meat on hand for a quick change up.:) Be careful Friday (not a good forecast).
