I have a 14' Mirro Craft and currently have a worthless hand crank type anchor winch on the bow. I built my own deck up there to hold it and my trolling motor.

What is a good electric winch that is not to expensive? Also, what kind and size of anchore is best for all around use on this size boat?

On a job I was working on I noticed the fire doors were operated by a 12vDC motor. I'm too honest to clip one but if the price was right, that would be an option for me.
