Algonac State Ramp

All,
Just curious about the depth at the Algonac State Park Boat Ramp. I have a 19 foot cuddy with a 140 I/O. Is the ramp deep enuf to launch or do I need to go to the city Launch by the DQ ? :confused:

Will probably go out next week and :fish: , wondering if it would be worth the drive.
What about the launch in Marysville or Marine City ? R they deep enuf ?

it gets pretty shallow, as low as 1.5 ft in some spots. i have an outboard and trimmed up it does fine. i see boats w/ outboards launch there all the time so i think you'll be ok. just be careful.

I have a 17 footer and would not even think about launching at the state park. Small aluminum boats with small outboards only there. Best bet for a deep water launch is by the DQ.

Either the Algonac city ramp or the DNR south of Algonac. The one at the state park is for real small boats. It has a dirt ramp and no dock.

Tanks for the reply's.:) :) From what I could see from the road, it looked a little iffy for me:( . Will trudge out of Self or North River for now until I get a chance to check them out in the boat. May try to go out on Saturday eve for the first splash of the season (rebuilt the floor and engine work needed to be done first).
May try some afternoon fishing on Sunday as I am going to the Washington Lion's Chicken BBQ :rant: to see my dad on Sunday am:lol: . Food is always good and enuf to fill ya.:D
