I was out last Sunday with my son. We were fishing in front of the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club and we were trolling with small rapalas. In a little less than 3 hours we caugt and released over 20 very nice smallmouths. As long as we stayed in 5 to 6 feet of water, it was pretty much non stop action. The Grosse POinte Yacht is at Vernier Road which is 8 Mile Road.

friend and his wife went to selfrige and said they caught about45 small mouth 3-5 pounds some pike and pick up a 49inch muskie on a tube they were using tube jigs

We'll I made it up here. I'll be headed out of St. Clair Shores in the morning and fishing from there up towards Metro. What's the wind supposed to do? O was hopimg for something west and less than 10mph.

Had a blast today. Boated 48 with 8 in the 4 to 5 pound range. Caught em on tubes in 7 FOW. Launched from 11 mile and caught out in front of the tent. My thumb is raw now....

Will try again Sunday AM. Truly enjoyable day.
