Monday May 29th - Was able to get a 2 man limit handlining. It took from 9pm-2am to get 12. My fishing partner got 4 in the first hour, we had to work hard for the rest. Hot colour of the night was orange/tan F9 Rap.
Today - The wife and I headed out at 5pm to our "honey hole". We had our limits ( wife is only allowed 2 as she only has a conservation Licience) at 5:45pm. Hot colour was purple descent F11 Rap.
I was stopped on Monday night by the MNR (2 CO's in the boat) who check our liciences,cooler and gear ( they especialy looked over our handline leads very closely to make sure we only had 4 hooks total, which we did). He also checked my safety gear and he found my batteries in my waterproof flash light were dead. He was nice enough that he gave me 2 new AAA Duracell's for my light. I was very surprised how pleasent both CO's were towards us. I think it is great to see that they are steping up there presence in Lake St.Clair and the St.Clair River.
