Kinda slacked on my crawler picking duties this spring...and with my BIL coming into town and 5 neighbor kids bugging me to go fishing over the next couple weeks.....I'm going to be burning a few and don't want to buy a hundred little containers
Any ideas???

If you have a gander Mountian near you they sell in bulk, at least the one in Novi does. I think it was $19.99 for 12 doz. but don't quote me on the price;)

Get a flashligt and a coffee can after a rainstorm and you can get as many as you want, heck put the neighbor kids to work, they will have fun picking. Al

Believe it or not, in the past I've rigged an old extention cord up to a wire coat hanger (straighten it out) and attach the leads to the hanger using electrical tape. Wet the area you wish to gather crawlers with a garden hose and then stick the coat hanger into the ground as deep as you can. Step away from the area, plug the extention cord into your outdoor socket and watch the worms jump out of the soil. Unplug and load them up! Just be careful and don't electricute yourself, be sure to unplug before approching! This is no b-s and works like a charm.
