Oil Question??

Hey Guys,

I was just wondering if there is a difference between these two oils?

Mercury Mercruiser engine oil
Synthetic blend 25W-40 its in the red jugs. It says its for 4 cycle sterndrive and inboard engines.

Mercury 4 Stroke Outboard engine oil
Synthetic blend 25W-40 it also in the red jugs.

The guy at the local shop says they are both the same, but if they are why two different labels for inboards and outboards??

I have a new Mercury Verado and i bought the first oil listed for inboards because thats all they had and the guy assured me it was the same thing as the outboard oil.

What do you guys think? Anyone know their oils is this Sterndrive stuff i bought ok to put in or should i take it back??
