I also have the panther remote system on my boat, a 25' Sportcraft Fisherman, and I love it. Just a word of caution though, watch the remote, do not get it wet, we did to the first one without realizing it and burned out the control pad and we had to get a replacement...$$$

Tough morning but still a good time. Slick caught a walleye the other day and when we got it in the boat, it had 4-5 white worms hanging out about 16-17 inches out of its butt. While I was holding this fish the worms were making their way back inside the fish. Kind of nasty if you ask me. Anyways, when I got home, I took my fillet knife and opened this fish up, and there were sores all inside of the ribcage. They were red circles about he size of a dime and appeared to have blisters all over them. The meat reminded me of string cheese you would buy at the super market. That fish is now elsewhere and not in my freezer. The remote steer is something that I should purchased years ago.

Robert, those things did remind of tape worms by their size and color, but who knows for sure. May have to ask the garbage man if he looked or not. The electric steer is pretty sweet for my set up, no more silly extension handles to play with, and the engine doesn't decide to just turn on its own like before.
