Identifying a prop....

I found a darn near new looking prop off of an outboard motor in the scrap metal dumpster here at work...Is there a way to tell by looking at it what it might fit or work on?

Look next to the hub. There should be some #'s stamped in that area. That will give you an idea on what prop it is.

On the side of the hub or INSIDE the hub on the rim around the propshaft hole is where you will find the model number. You can then look it up on the internet or call a local prop shop.
