I've been spinning my tires trying to get my boat out of a gravel launch... I have an older buick regal that is rear wheel drive... I don't have enough money to purchase a 4 wheel drive...

My question is... Is their a fold up grip product I can keep in my trunk and then lay under my tires that will give me awesome tracktion when pulling out my boat... any help or ideas are considered and appreciated...

Try backing your boat in just far enough to get the boat on the trailer, even if you have to crank it on. Also try putting the car in second gear, it won't spin as much.

Or put some weight in the trunk...

Put a hitch ON THE FRONT BUMPER.
It will be like having front wheel drive when you pull the boat out.

Put some mud / snow tires on, it will give you more traction in sand/gravel.

I've used my floor mats in a pinch, so maybe a couple strips of outdoor carpet with a rubberized backing on it?

Now I have a Jeep, any doubts, I put it in 4L.

I've had buddies go to the bar the nite before and pick up a fat chick. Roll her in the back seat for extra weight.......:D The downside is, you need to have her fish with her until you pull out.......

We've used an old snowmobile track cut into two pieces. Although just about anyone will do one from an older Arctic Cat with the metal cleats works great! ;)

That and some tire chains should do it.

Here’s an idea for ya back your car down into the water as far as you can go. after the boat is locked down to the trailer have your fishing buddy who is still in the boat keep the motor running in N until your ready and on the count of 3 you both GAS IT :yikes: and the boat will push that ol Buick right out for ya...

In all seriousness I think the Arctic Cat track would work best. Probable a little safer also...

the fat chick and the boat locked in the trailer and gas it are the best... but seriously anyone have an old snowmobile track I can buy off you...
