Picked up 5 near the 400 Club Tuesday between 4pm - 7pm. I am sure I could have scrounged up another for a limit but I figured there was nothing wrong with going home w/ 5 in the cooler and being able to spend some time with the family before they went to bed.
All caught on Chartruese/Green Harnesses, 3/4 oz. bottom bouncers in 9.5 - 10.5 FOW. Man the weeds are already at July levels.
Sizes were 15", 16" 17", 17", 22".

Great job. May have to give the lake a try soon. Just hate to make that drive when the river is 3 miles away. :)

Nice job on the Walleye bripro! Definitely some good eating there. Good decision on spending some time with the family rather than go for number 6. Sometimes that last fish can take forever! :p

I was wondering if anybody had any ideas on how to make a harness weedless. I was thinking that if you used a rubber worm like a gulp product and texas rigged the hooks if that may work. No fun cleaning weeds all day.

Something on this order would work:

I do that and it works okay.... still get some weeds but not quite as bad.

Thanks for another good report guys. As far as weedless goes I found that running inline sinkers rather than bottom bouncers helps keep some weeds off. The weeds are kind of strange this year. Some areas have them and some don't at the same depth. Maybe some areas froze more than others. Only my guess.
