We currently have 2 Walker Electric Riggers on the back of our boat. Both are were wired to the battery w/ the "Jumper" cable I'm calling it, including the plug to allow you do unplug the rigger but not unhook it from the battery. They are less than a year old. We have had problems w/ one of them needing to wiggle the wires for it to work. Thought it was a bad connection, so yesterday I rewired both of them, a little more professional. One quit working completely. It's not in the wiring itself 'cause I can take the jumper that is plugged into the one that works, put it on the bad one and I have nothing still. So it's from the plugin, to the rigger itself that the problem lies. Anyone have any suggestions?...thanks in advance.;)

Get ahold of Neil at the Service Center in Allegan...I will garantee he will take care of you and probably under warranty as well; esp. if you paid the extra 10.00 and got the lifetime garantee......He has given me nothing short of outstanding service on my Walkers...

I had one that just went stupid and stopped.

I have the warranty on mine, dropped it off with Neil, and he reset a ? thermo? switch inside the rigger. Cleaned it up and greased it and all that and I had it back in a couple days.

Cool.

More than likely something simple like that.

Unless you're brave, I would not recommend tearing it apart. Lots of little bushings and springs and things that like to bail out and hide. Trust me on that one.
