pinckney/waterloo fishing

Was going to be in the Pinckney/Waterloo Rec. area this weekend with the family. Anyplace good to fish out there??? shore/canoe fishing. ??:sad: :rolleyes: :confused:

there are alot of small lakes in the area. a canoe is a good choice for some, but a bad choice for others(pleasure boaters/holiday weekend/very hot and sunny)......anyhow, most of the lakes offer panfish, bass and pike fishing.

if you go to the "toll booth" at halfmoon lake, the attendant should have an area map. this is located on Hankerd Rd.- North of of N. Territorial Rd. about a mile or so on the left.

there are some smaller lakes in the immediate area that are not accessible by trailered boats, and a canoe or shore fishing will be available.
