I've never seen it before!! Nice idea for those that have actual cell coverage able to withstand 3 min of download time.

Can you imagine? You're stuck in the office on October 31st and around 11am an emailed picture comes in. A giant buck just moseyed by the camera three minutes ago. From the photo you can tell that he's heading in the general direction of your stand on the ridge 600 yards away. You quickly check weather.com and find that the wind is favorable. All of your equipment is in your vehicle, and if you leave immediately, you could be perched in a tree on the ridge in 45 minutes. Or you could stick with the existing plan of attending the office staff meeting that afternoon:lol:.
I'm not as captivated by new products as I once was, but this one really has caught my interest. My wife rolled her eyes when I showed it to her, so that tells me this is a powerful concept, because she only utilizes the eye roll for things which might eventually become a "necessity":D .
However, I'm not certain if this thing would be a blessing or a curse. To be receiving up to the minute "updates" of what's happening in the woods might be more than I could handle. Of course how would a guy really know whether or not this would be a good thing until he tried it out for a year or two?

Thanks for the positive comments on our new product!
Just to answer the question of cellular carrier. All devices are coded for a certain carier. Unfortunately we don't have every carrier confirmed for our product and it would require that we must supply multiple versions. But we are working on it and should have multiple versions available next year so if t-Mobile doesn't work in your area just check back next spring to see if we have a provider service that will work for you.
Good Luck Scouting!
Thanks again,
Chad

I'd like to sacrificially volunteer to be your first pro staffer in S. Michigan. By the way, how many free cameras does a pro staffer get? You don't have to reveal the exact number, just an approximation will do. Is it more or less than five? Should I look for them to be shipped Fed Ex or UPS? Please advise:).
P.S. Welcome to Michigan-Sportsman.com. I hope your new venture meets with tremendous success!

Chad-
Neat idea and neat package. But would have to say that NO cellular carrier reaches my deer camp. So, unless it comes with a super duper antenna magnifier built by Jimmy Neutron, it won't get the 30+ miles to camp.

Gilbey,
Those antennas actually do work. I would loose all service at St Ignace, with the antenna I get get full service at my cabin, 15 miles north of Newberry. I use the antenna anytime I'm in the car or at the cabin. At the cabin I put it on the roof, I can send and receive just like at home!!!

 I was just making the antenna thing up, but if there is such a thing that we could plug a phone in at camp verse driving 10 miles to one spot that seems to have coverage, it'd be good to know!!! And that's literally what it is.

We do sell an antenna that gets about a 35% - 45% boost. It won't work for everyone..... yet :)
November you were just one day too late as our last pro spot filled up. And too bad as we give 7 cams to the pros.:lol::lol::lol::lol:
How about if you purchase a cam from us (remind me of this) I'll throw in a cool e-Buck camo hat.
Thanks again!

there is another website but im not sure of the name. anyways, it is a trailcam and you must pay for three months or a years account. everytime a picture is takin, it is sent to your e-mail! the camera uses cell fone technology.me and my dad thought about doing this for next season for three months. i think the cost for everything is $50 or so. i think it is pretty kool by the way they use cell fone technology. if you live down river u mite have seen the article written in the free press.
