Cedar Lake - Oscoda county

Any info on this lake would be appreciated. A friend just got a cottage there and wants to go fishing. All I know is it's shallow.

I have heard of good 'gill populations although I have never fished it.

There are some deep spots. I've fished it a couple of times. Caught some pike, smallmouth, and walleye. Nothing big.

I know that W.I.C. planted it with walleyes at least a few times .

Better fish at night......with the shallow depths and zillions of ski boats....not much doin' during daylight hours.
