I hope the bass are in this year along with couple eye's, seen very few bass none caught last year. Northerns were sure bitting though. Will post back monday on how the fishing is.

If you can Jim, hit as many Marinas as you can get into from your location. Any waters warmer than the bay proper (and thats many this year) will be holding pre-spawn bass.

We'll be fishing from shore, I hope the fish will be in close. Will be fishing the river most of the time up there, might take one trip upto caseville. Stop and fish different spots along the way.

The trip was nice, besides the first night when it decided to rain. The fishing was slow near the mouth, caught alot of small northerns, my grandpa caught close to 28 incher. Released it. and my uncle caught small muskie. Sunday I caught a 14 inch LM on bleeding series tube, which I put in freezer for a snack. Went east just outside of town and fished the river. We caught northerns and one big rock bass,on the tube. My uncle lost a big bass, broke the line.
Hopefully can have a boat going soon, the campers who went out on the bay where doing very well on the eye's between Thomas rd. and Sebewaing. Using hot-n-tots.
