I head up and fish lake St helens a few times a yr. I have landed some nice pike and bass there in the first lake. I hear that the first lake is a nice walleye lake. I have never pulled a walleye out of there. The lake is pretty shallow clear lake with lots of zebra muscles. The weeds get pretty thick in the summer months also. What are some techniqes to target these walleys.

The lazy mans way??? - Slip floats and leeches in the holes and edges of the weeds.
The Hard working mans way? Casting weed edges at night or on windward breaks. -- Done it both ways on St. Helens and Houghton with success.
