Fished solo, set lines around 4:30 in 155 fow. Got 2 riggers set and got a nice steelie on right away. After getting through 4 acrobatic leaps and still keeping him on, I thought I had him licked. He came unbuttoned 5 feet from the boat as I was getting ready to dip the net. It came on green/orange monkey puke spoon down 40 on the rigger. Reset the rigger and put a half core out the back with a buffalo bill type spoon. That took a nice coho in 160 fow. Got 2 kings, 6 and 8 lbs. on the rigger 40 down on the same spoon the steelie came on. Took one more small king, 2 lbs., on a free slider over 50 on the rigger with a watermelon spoon. Basically had 2 waypoints in 155 to 162 fow and just kept circling between the 2. Pulled lines at 630 with 4 in the box and the steelie still swimming. Lake was flat, only one fly bothered me and was in shorts and tee most of the time.

Thanks for the update on S.H. It's tough when you're by yourself, no doubt. Those steelies have a knack for throwing the hook at the boat anyways. :bloos:

I thought I heard you on the radio, and I was pretty sure I knew the name from this forum. I'll remember it now. I was talking back and forth with Fishing Fanatic and Carol Ann sharing info. Good job on the fish ez and thanks for the consolation huron :)
