Fished with FIJI and Karl on Monday night in the 2-3' chop and set lines north in 80 fow and trolled out to 150. Water temps were 47 to 41 degrees so we trolled with the waves to 35 fow and took 1 rip on a rigger 25 down at dark once we got back into the 47 degree water.
In the am we set up in 30 fow and took 2 kings early on, slide diver and blue chart spoon 80 back, then nothing. We fished out to 150 fow and not a bump so we motored out to 230 and fished to 250. Marked a ton of fish and bait and threw everything at them. Lake was like glass and 47 degrees everywhere on top.
Better reports coming from Grand Haven and Holland, but sounded very slow overall. Thanks Mike for everything, hope you make it back to try again in July for the big tunas.:) We should have them dialed in by then.
