Just read the article in Woods and Water on using 24 ounce lead balls and Church Flex Clips. Just wondering if anyone uses this technique Pros/Cons tips Thank you

Trolling for salmon....We picked up 2 fish with this set up. The first how-many feet to the ball sucks while fightin a fish but it works!

I have used the dropper weight system. Use anything from about six to twenty four ounces, depending where I am marking the fish. It works great for salmon. I use smaller snap weights for walleye. I may have to go to the snap weight system for salmon. It would be better for the environment, not to mentioon my pocket book.
