Got a later start on Monday morning out of Meinke's Marina. We ended up fishing between A can and West sister island. There was a pack of boats out there and the graph was full of fish. We caught the first fish of the day 15 minutes after setting lines and thought that is bode well for the morning, but no other fish. We pulled mini dipsey divers and spoons most of the morning. Saw a lot of other boats out there as well mostly tossing worms. Did not see a lot of net action anywhere. Ended up pulling lines and heading back to the dock about 2:30 to change the oil on the motors.
The water clarity was terrible until you were out by west sister and there it was about 2 feet or so of visibility. The Saturday wind may have put the fish off for Sunday. Saw the charters bringing in some fish, but they were out for most of the day. At least the boat is ready to go for the summer and the upcoming weekend should be great if the weather holds out.
