I'm camping at Sterling this weekend and saw the report for flat rock and how good they are doing on the white bass. How would i go about getting there from Sterling? Where can i get bait and how would i go about fishing there? I've never fished there before and have only driven by it very few times. :help:

Take M-50 to Telegraph and turn right(north) to Flat rock,,you can run I-75 back to the Gibrator exit west which runs in to Huron river drive, then to the river. And you can turn right coming out of the park and drive it to Gibrator road and turn left to Flatrock..good luck and good fishing

I park in the lot of the closed bait shop, It's just down river from the bridge you walk over to get to the other side of the park. I fished on the parking side under the road just downriver of where i parked. throw a minnow into the wash and it will drift back just under the bridge and stop in the swirling current and BAM every time;) You can buy minnows just up the the river, i think 2 stop signs the park road ends and it's right across the street. I bought 2 doz minnows and got at least 10 doz:one_eye: Good luck! If you need more spifics pm me and i'll give you my cell# I might hit it again this weekend it was a blast!

Take 75 north to exit 26 S huron river drive. Go west to telegraph, approx 5 miles. Turn right on Telegraph and the Park will be behind the dairy queen immediatly on your left.

Think theres enough room down there on a weekend to cast with a fly rod? I'm really liking this fly fishing thing.
