Looking for year of outboard

My brother aquired a boat and motor from his wifes father,when he past away.

The motor is a Mercury.It has the name Kiekhaefer on it.The model is Mark 25,with the serial# 868714.I`m looking to try and find the year it was made, so we can get a manual for it.He thinks it`s is a late 60`s early 70`s model.

Any help would be appreciated.
