got another limit on saturday, crawler harnesses and bottom bouncers near the sand piles...they liked the full worm, not the twister tails...its too bad my dumb ***** caught the trolling motor so we had a really hard time manuvering the boat around....were out between 10:00 and 1:00...a little windy and cold, but all around a great day!---thekid:gaga: http://www.michigan-sportsman.com/photopost/data/500/medium/IM000259.JPG

thanks, due...by the way, we were stopped by the can. conservation and they checked our lic. and counted our fish...everything was in order but i was wondering, if you have 11 fish on the boat, is only one guy allowed to have his pole in the water, or can both people still fish legally, as long as one guy catches and releases?----thekid:gaga:

First, I don't know the law. But, common sense would dictate that all would still be allowed to fish. Who's to say the rest aren't fishing for perch, carp, sheephead, etc.
I've run across a few CO's that try to push their authority, and tell you what you're fishing for.

thanks milmo1, that seems to make sense, i just don't know what the co's would have said if we had 11 and both poles were still in the water---thekid:gaga:

You can have all your lines in the water with 12 fish in the boat. Just have to release any additional fish caught after you have your limit. Hey thekid, were you drifting or trolling in the river or lake?
