well since i been laid off i finally had the time to get back to finishing off the major repairs to the old boat. for a recap it needed a new transom, floor stringers and a floor put in. heres a couple in progress pics

new floor in

once all the new wood was put in place it was covered with epoxy resin and cloth. several layers where put down then sanded and a couple of coats of epoxy put down to help level everything off. once it was cured it was sanded smooth and painted. for the floor i used sea gloss non skid paint and the outside of the transom i used interlux brightsides paint. i had planed to paint the whole outside of the boat this year but it will have to wait till next year. right now i am waiting for an exhaust shutter before i can drop the motor back in. once the motor is back in it will be headed to a boat guy to go over the motor and get her running right. after that its time to finish the inside sides and get the carpet on them. hopefully in a couple weeks i will have some new pics of the interior. heres a couple new pics.

Wow, Bill, that's good stuff. I tore into a boat once. Sold it for parts shortly after I cut the floor out.
