it was slow going but two of us managed 10 walleyes by 12 noon. all at the belle isle bridge. be sure to use a crawler. 3 of the fish went 18 inches...two other boats at this spot all morning. Sat's weather is looking better. but I am amazed at the continued clarity of water and the continued catching regardless of the weather. visibility was 8 feet today, could see those eyes twisting way down on the way up.andy

The weather has been tough but the fishin' has been fantastic, lets hope it continues. Thanx for the report on the fish and clarity. I'm headin' out tonight around 10 or so. Planning on hitting the Belle Isle bridge 1st. I think that with NNW winds it should be pretty nice there. I'll post results in the morn.:)

I liked what castmaster said....:"a few days without fishing and I get the shakes"... today solved that until a Saturday late afternoon evening fish.
It was nice to be one of the only boats out. however, I had a guy in a 30' center console run 20 feet from us going 45+ MPH. he's got the hole damn river and he does that:rant:

I watched for his return all morning, no luck...andy

That happened to me last weekend. I managed to get his attetion and he looked but didn't stop. I let him know that he was number 1! Probably a good thing he didn't stop. I might have got myself into trouble.
