Pinconning Country Park

We are camping at Pinconning next weekend, something we do every year for our first camp outing, just because its close. I have never fished out of pinconning, but was wondering if it would be worth taking my boat. There is a small boat launch there, is it shallow out for a long way? any good fishing around this area?:dizzy:

usually some very good walleye fishing around that area. not sure how deep the channel gets.

You won't get a boat out off the ramp. But genows marina is just around the corner. from the pinconning park you go back twords town, take the first rd.that onl;y goes left (south), take that 1 mile to newberg, go left (east), got 1 1/2 miles to 2 mile rd. go left, (north). The marinas at the end of the rd.

well i've seen 14ft's launch there but your taking a chance. geno's would be better, just go out just past the bar and fish there around the weed bed, good fishing!

I've launched a 12ft off that launch and its SHALLOW even staying between the markers. I've got a 14ft jon boat and will launch it there but its designed for shallow water.
