We fished in the rain this past Saturday and did well. Ended up 5/5, with three kings and two cohos. Got the kings near the mud line in about 40-50', and the cohos hit once we headed out deeper.
The wind picked up out of the north west so we headed home in a hurry. There were a number of boats out deeper in the 120' range, but our radio is not working so we didn't hear how they were doing. One guy at the launch had a limit of 6 cohos.

Nice job on the 5/5.:D I wasn't so lucky. Went out 5/13/06 am. Fished 30-60fow. Took hits on (1) blue dolfin, (1) orange crush, (2) dark blue spoon/ green glow tape don't know the name. All were on riggers 25 & 38 down. The one hit on the orange crush was on a free slider. Only landed one small king. I fished solo and wasn't able to hook up very well. Not even a bump on the dipsy. Started out slow and nothing, fish didn't start hitting untill I bumped the speed up to 3.2-3.5 mph. Hope this helps

The kings were hitting deep, full core and downriggers @ 35' in 40-50 FOW. Moonshine spoons.
One coho hit a deep downrigger, the other came on a green stinger free slider and was jumping at the surface before we could pop the line out of the release...
