Does anyone know if they are still catching walleye off the pier in Holland? If so what type of rigs/bait are you using.

#14 Husky Jerks work well, as do 11 countdowns in orange, chart, clown, firetiger, along with larger sized floaters....

not sure about holland but further north its been slow off the pier for eyes due to the bait alweif moving into the lakes to spawn.

a few weeks ago there was a huge fish kill in lake mac, which dumps into the harbor. thousands of fish were belly up. Add to that a pretty constant cycle of dredging in the channel, and my contacts up in Holland who regularly fish this bite haven't even bothered going. Hopefully that tells you something.
I checked out saugatuck one nite off the piers under ideal conditions and came up with nothing except a 10lb sheephead.
