Nets/hazards off Grand Haven?

I'm fishing out of Grand Haven for the first time next weekend, and need to know if and where there are any nets or other fixed hazards I should know about. Thanks in advance.

Look out for the nets just to the north of GH in front of Mona Lake. They start around 70FOW or so and go out a ways. I am not sure if there is anything straight out of GH to look out for.

i was out to 62 feet off mona lake today. did not see the nets. last year they started at 70' and went out to 100'.

How far north of GH to these nets by Mona Lake?

I think it's around 14mi from GH. -Musk. The nets are about 2.5mi south of Musk.
I did hear on the radio (5-13am) that the fish were coming in the 120fow range out of GH. Good Luck!

there are a lot of big old nasty fish being taken out of grand haven. those downrigger things and dippy divers are snagging a bunch of them. work out to 100 feet slightly north and watch out. there breaking rods and snappin line.puttin meat on a hook and flashin them gets their attention. you can also spoon them about 45 down. mongoose or other green combos in sunny weather or cotote darker combos in clouds. WARNING these fish are addictive .
