Think this move was a good one. These two bodies of weter certianly get enough posts to justify their own heading.

I do not like it. Sure, there were a lot of threads but at least they were all in one place. Now we are forced to have to look through several seperate forums. Does the upper Detroit River fall into the Det. River and Lake Erie forum or is it in the Lake St. Clair forum?

Just gotta spend more time waiting for each different forum to load up.

And, when the topics are bunched up together it provides exposure about other fishing areas to the new comers. If someone wants to know about the Det. River he or she would also see the postings about the St. Clair River. Now, these newcomers might never bother to go to that forum and never get the information, tips, suggestions, or help they might have found there.

I agree with Alex. I don't get out that often so I live my fishing life vicariously through these forums. I liked it all in one place. Easier to compare areas. Oh well, maybe I just don't like change. I was comfortable the other way.

All in all I like the new change, but I think maybe 1 less category. Maybe something like Sag. Bay, Tribs, and Lake Erie by their self. Then SCR, LSC, and DR by their self. And Finally, all Inland Lakes by itself. Something like that.:)

I like the old way. Now I have to check two forums and post twice. This will sererate alot of talk between guys that use to keep in touch on the old forum. After jigging the river comes to an end, I guess I'll talk to you river rats next spring!

Yes, definately one less catagory and I think that "fish eater" has it pegged down.

How many people new to fishing will come to the Message Board and after wading through a couple of these Warm Water forums will get bored or confused and leave. And, they might never come back.

Another point, with to many seperate forums like we have now some of the newcomers might never be exposed to new fishing methods or new fishing spots or just plain old new information because they were looking in just one forum and thought it all was there.
