I know with the rain and wind the past few days the water is probably torn up a bit. We were going to go out for the evening bite today but called H.H. to make sure St. Jean was open. Glad we did that becuase they were closed as of 430 PM today.
Being that this is my first year down there I was hoping some of you upper DR guys could let us all know if it would be worthwhile to make an outing there in the morning? The wind is supposed to let up to 5-10 SE before morning. Is the U.S. side going to be mud?
Thanks in advance for any info!!

I launched at 6:00 and limited out by 7:40 out in front of Peche Island. All nice eaters. Got rained on for about half the time. The water was crystal clear and 54 degrees. Caught all fish on blue/white 1/2 ounce jig with Fin S minnow in 30+ feet of water.

Wow, the upper Det. River is now part of Lake Erie instead of Lake St. Clair. But, the Peche Island stays in the Lake St. Clair forum.

They divided up the Warm Water forums wrong, IMO, by including the entire Detroit River as part of Lake Erie. The "upper" Detroit River should be included in with the Lake St. Clair and St. Clair River forum. The "lower" Detroit River should be part of Lake Erie.
